A letter to the king of sheep's: Please stop pulling down great men of God in Nigeria... You are someone I respect so much but I'm beginning to wonder why you love criticizing men of God! If I may ask sir, have you ever been sexually molested by a clergyman? If no, then why are you always writing trash about different men of God? You had said all manner of evil things against my Pastor, the General overseer of The Redeemed Christian church of God,(RCCG), a great man of God, who had dedicated all his life to serving God and humanity, you had also fabricated lies against the general overseer of Winners Chapel, and now you are tarnishing the image of another great man of God just because a girl accused him wrongly of having an affair with her. Please what do you stand to gain by pulling down this men of God? Are you a saint? Who made you a spokesman for Christians? Even the bible clearly states that "judge not"... So why do you take pleasure in condemning these men of God? Or have you forgotten that even the Vice President of Nigeria is also a PASTOR? Please, this has to stop, focus on your O.A.P job and let the sheep's free themselves, that's even if they are in bondages in the first place. You are not God, neither are you perfect, so please sir, let this stop. Stop criticizing the administration of President Buhari, stop criticizing the great men of God in Nigeria, please sir stop it. This is not to put you down, but its just a candid advice, so you can make heaven when the trumpet blows, and that's if your a true believer anyways..

Just In!! PDP Leaders To Pay Sympathy Visit To Buhari In London
The Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BOT), Sen. Walid Jubril, says the party leaders are ready to visit and sympathise with President Muhammadu Buhari in London.
Jubril, who denied that the party promoted the rumoured death of the President, said that the PDP was rather praying fervently for Buhari’s safe return to Nigeria.
“Let him be well and come back and continue with his leadership of Nigeria.
“If we are to be given the opportunity, the PDP leaders will even go to London to wish him well and sympathize with his family,” he said in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Kaduna.
The BOT chairman, also spoke on the lingering crisis in the party, saying that “the PDP will never die”.
According to him, the party is making efforts to end the lingering crisis facing it and forge ahead.
“By the grace of God we are coming clean and the PDP will never die, it will remain as a very strong party.
“There could be differences; differences will come and go, we will emerge stronger and ready to win all elections like we have won in Rivers, Taraba, Gombe, and we are going to win in Anambra, Ekiti hands down.”
The BOT chairman cautioned key stakeholders against confusing party members, saying they should allow ongoing reconciliation efforts by well-meaning Nigerians including former President Goodluck Jonathan.
He said that apart from Jonathan, other stakeholders in the party are also engaged in the reconciliation efforts.
“I am very sure that there are moves by very responsible party leaders on way forward for our party and we are making a lot of contacts.”
According him, the former president is consultating with the BOT and all the enstranged groups in the party.
“He has spoken with Ahmed Makarfi and Ali Modu Sheriff and he is also talking with me as BOT chairman.
“People should give the former president the opportunity to make proper scrutiny and come out with agreeable solutions on this matter.
“They should not be in too much hurry to further confuse members; we are talking about political solutions.”
Jubril dismissed reports of alleged attempt by the Makarfi faction to break away and register a new party.
“My belief is that when there are such decisions, it will be subjected to scrutiny and discussions by all organs and forums such as the national assembly, the ministers forum, former Governors, and we have the BOT and also the chairmen of various states.
“Whatever we want to do, it must be subjected to their beliefs and understanding.
“I wonder if anybody will say that he has gone to register on behalf of PDP; I will not accept that.”

Corper Beaten And Slapped By Police Officer In Zamfara: NYSC Reacts
The attention of the NYSC Management has been drawn to stories making the rounds about the beating of a Corps member, Esi Uwakwe, serving in Kaura Namoda, Zamfara State, by the police purportedly at the instance of an influential indigene of the area.
Management wishes to inform the public that findings of investigation launched by the Scheme show that the facts of the case were grossly exaggerated, especially in the social media.
Our findings showed that the Corps member, who is serving in a school, went beyond his responsibility of teaching and adoption of acceptable approaches to discipline by causing knee injuries to one of his students whom he instructed to crawl on his knees.
The angered father of the student took the matter to the police and in the course of handling the case, an overzealous officer slapped the Corps member.
Our position on the matter is that both the Corps member and the policeman were wrong in their approaches.
However, we are pleased to note the step taken by the Zamfara State Commissioner of Police, who invited all parties to his office for amicable resolution of the case.
The overzealous policeman has since apologized for slapping the Corps member and the matter has been put to rest.
Management wishes to stress that the picture of a man with cuts on his back, which is being circulated online, is not that of Corps member Uwakwe, but merely posted with intent to cause mischief and further mislead the public.
While we sympathize with both the injured student and the Corps member, whose inexperience might have resulted in his excesses in his approach to discipline, we wish to restate that the publicity the case generated would have been normal if not for the exaggeration.
Management remains committed to safety and dignity of Corps members, but wishes to advise those on teaching assignment to always exercise caution in handling disciplinary cases and to, especially, refer serious cases to their school supervisors to be on the safe side.

Fulani Men Kidnap 52-Year-Old Woman In Ibadan
THREE Fulani men were among five other suspects paraded by the Oyo State Police command for allegedly kidnapping a 52-year old business woman in Ibadan. While parading the suspects, the new Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr. Abiodun Odude, gave the names of the suspected kidnappers as Taoreed Ibrahim, 35; Wilfred Manger,32; Moshood Adams, 26; Umar Amadu, 31; and gang leader, Adekunle Folorunsho Aderopo, 31.
While parading the suspects alongside 19 other armed robbery suspects and burglars, the CP said, “In the few days that we have been here, we have been able to record very formidable achievements. The first achievement we have been able to make was the case of a woman, who was kidnapped. Her car with other documents were taken away by the kidnappers. “We have arrested five of the kidnappers and we are still working and very soon, we will get the remaining members of the gang, who had the rifles and other weapons that were used in that operation. It is a welcome feat for us.” He added that two of the suspects, Aderopo and Wilfred Manger were ex-convicts.
He said Folorunso Aderopo, 31, was released from Agodi prison in August last year after serving a jail-term, while Wilfred Manger, 32, was also released from the same prison. He said, “The suspects trailed their victim from her office in Ojoo area of Ibadan to her house in Akobo and kidnapped her around 10pm as she was about to enter her house on February 25, 2017. She was robbed of her valuables before being driven away in her Toyota Highlander with number plate LND 954 EE. All through the journey, she was blindfolded to prevent her from knowing where they were until they entered a forest.
“She was taken to Ogere forest where she was subjected to all manner of emotional and psychological torture. She was kept in the forest for two days and prevented from contacting her family. But through diligent investigation in collaboration with Lagos State Police Command, some suspects were arrested at Alausa in Ikeja, Lagos with the victim’s car on February 28, 2017.”
While speaking with newsmen, the suspected mastermind of the kidnap, Aderopo, said he got information from a member of the gang, Moshood Adams. The suspect said, “we traced her from Ojoo in Ibadan to her residence in Akobo where we dispossessed her of her valuables, including a cash sum of N100,000. So, we took her to a bush in Ogere. I was arrested in Lagos with the Toyota Highlander of the woman.” The abducted woman, “We were coming from office at night on Saturday. Then, the gate of our house was opened. The next thing I heard was everybody should lie down. So, we all lied down. They collected all the valuables and they put me in the car, which, of course, I did not know it has tracker.
“We moved for about 25 minutes and I was put somewhere. I was blindfolded till around 4a.m. In the morning, I was moved into the bush and we trekked from Saturday night till Monday afternoon. I was not given any food during the time.” Other suspects included armed robbery suspects whose names were given as Seyi Ajayi Amao, Mohammed Sanni, Oladimeji Adekoya, and Oladotun Tijani. The CP said: “We want to use the opportunity to assure the residents of Oyo State that we shall carry out our statutory duties within the limit if the law. So, all residents of the state have nothing to worry about. We’ll do our best to protect their lives and property as much as we can.
“I just finished a strategic meeting with the all Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers, and Head of Departments in the state. We have put our heads together and strategised on how to provide adequate security for all the residents of Oyo State. We want everybody in Oyo State to go about their lawful duties and by the grace of God, we will succeed in combating crime.”
